The setting

Most people come to Bhutan for the mountains. You can see all of them from Court 1.

The National Tennis Centre sits by the Thimphu river beside Changlimithang Stadium, ringed by blue-pine forest and the eastern Himalaya. Cool evening breezes even in the summer months are hard to find anywhere else on earth.
